Abstract:

We obtain the regular refraction interval for a given starlike curve $\Gamma$, with respect to a point $p\notin\Gamma$, denoted by $RRI[\Gamma,p]$ and we give several examples. In particular, we deduce that if $\Gamma$ is a circle and the point $p$ lies inside of $\Gamma$, then $RRI[\Gamma,p]=[0,r/d]$, where $r$ is the radius of $\Gamma$ and $d$ is the distance from $p$ to the center of $\Gamma$.
