Some results on slant submanifolds of a trans-Sasakian manifold have been
obtained. We have given a necessary and sufficient condition for a
3-dimensional submanifold of a 5-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold to be
proper minimal slant submanifold. An intrinsic characterization of slant
submanifolds of a trans-Sasakian manifold in terms of the induced metric
has
also been given.
